Yarra Valley Wedding Photographer, Sarah Godenzi

Hi, I’m Sarah.

As you probably guessed, I’m a Yarra Valley wedding and portrait photographer specialising in rural weddings set in magical country locations. I grew up in the Yarra Valley and explored a few career options before deciding to study graphic design, which is when I realised that photography was my true calling (probably because it combined two of my favourite things; people and storytelling!) I now live in Bentleigh East with my husband and fur-kid (Kermit) where – when I’m not shooting weddings and portraits – you might find me at the dog beach or the gym, op shopping, hunting for good eats and coffee… or taking photos of anything that catches my eye.

About My Photography

My approach to wedding photography (and photography in general) is very relaxed and what I like to call, “journalistic”. It’s my job to tell your story with as little interference as possible, so all of those magical candid moments can happen effortlessly. It doesn’t matter where your wedding is held or who is in your bridal party (or whether you even have a bridal party!) – it’s your day, and there are no rules… well, except that you need to have an amazing time. All I ask is that you forget about tradition for a second and do what truly reflects you as a couple. Embracing all of the little quirks of the day so it’s nothing but celebration from start to finish.

Being asked to photograph a wedding is something I will never take lightly. After all, I’m being invited into one of the most special moments of your lives! If you’d like to get in touch to chat about your plans, I promise you there will be zero pressure, because all that matters is that you’re happy. So it’s up to you to decide if I’m the right fit.

Wondering if I’m the right photographer for you?

Whether you’re getting married in the Yarra Valley or anywhere else in Australia, give me a call on 0430 353 727 or fill out my contact form if you’d like to arrange a more convenient time to chat. I look forward to hearing from you!
