This wedding is a particular favourite of mine for more reasons than one.
Working in the wedding industry means that you get to meet a lot of other talented people and just over a year ago I met these two who were filming the video for Nicole and Blake’s wedding. Of course we all hit it off straight away and I was absolutely stoked when they asked me to photograph their wedding as well as hang out as a guest.
Annette & Dani had already celebrated their relationship with a wedding long before same-sex marriage was approved so sadly it was never legalised the first time around. Needless to say it was pretty spesh to see these two make it official in front of their favourite people. Their vows were heartfelt, funny and witty, some of the best I have ever witnessed. On the contrary their dance moves were somewhat questionable! But I personally think the bad dance moves are often the best part of a wedding!!
