Bee + Drew’s Country wedding // Perricoota Station // Echuca

Rain or Shine: At Perricoota Station

Bee and Drew’s Perricoota Station wedding was nothing short of a wild, rain-soaked adventure. Despite the weather, these two took everything in stride and turned their rainy day into something unforgettable. With smiles that never faded, Bee and Drew embraced every moment of their special day. Even when the rain started pouring, they didn’t miss a beat. In fact, they ventured out into the downpour for photos, making the most of the unexpected weather. Bee, always up for fun, kicked off her shoes and got her feet covered in mud. She didn’t mind one bit, and instead, simply washed her feet in a puddle. That carefree vibe carried through their entire day.

An Indoor Ceremony That Still Shined

Though they had to move their ceremony indoors at the last minute, Bee and Drew kept things light-hearted and fun. The indoor space at Perricoota Station turned out to be just as gorgeous as their original outdoor plan. Drew got ready on a houseboat along the Murray River, while Bee and her bridesmaids prepped in the stunning art deco home right on the property. Everything was close by, making the day easy and relaxed.

An Echuca Wedding with Familiar Faces and a Fun Reunion

It wasn’t just the rain that made this wedding feel special. A few years earlier, I had the pleasure of photographing Bee’s sister Maddie’s wedding, so seeing familiar faces was such a treat. It felt like a reunion, which made the day even more memorable. I loved getting to capture these moments for both sisters—it was like coming full circle.

A Dancefloor to Remember at Perricoota Station

As the night went on, the dancefloor turned into a full-blown party. Everyone was up and dancing, including Bee’s dad, who even started to take his shirt off! The energy was electric, and the celebrations lasted all night long. But it wasn’t all wild moments—there were some heartfelt ones too, especially during Bee and Drew’s emotional vows. Those personal touches made their Echuca wedding truly unforgettable.
